1991, "Holly's"
This is how Holly started out.

Holly has not got four legs as everybody believes, she’s actually crawling. It’s a baby thing apparently.

Shush. I was only 8.

1992, "Holly's 1 Now"
Everybody used to mention that Holly looked really odd with the line between her eyes. That line allowed me to draw most of Holly's head with a single line.

But, I have to admit, it does look really odd.

1993, "Holly Mania"

Looking at these pictures now, I've just noticed that Holly actually looses one hair a year.
1996, "Holly"
It was a bit of a shocker when Holly received a pony tail. The thumb is quite obviously on the wrong side of the hand. I lower my head in shame.

Also this year, armed only with a "VTECH Video Painter" and two video recorders; I set about the task of creating "Holly the Movie". A harrowing animated tale where Holly and Harriet embark on a quest to resurrect Louis.

This was when I started using primitive construction lines.

So, Holly starts reverting into a more simplified state.

Holly boasts brand new additions such as a red hair band and a hood. Both of which add so many more possibilities to story lines! It's just a pity that her pony tail would never fit in that hood!
